The sugar bowl is inspired by the surrealist artist Magritte who used a lot of depictions of bowler hats as well as the cheeky cartoon characters Thomson and Thompson (French: Dupond et Dupont) who accompany Tintin in his adventures; we came up with the sugar bowl hat.
This is a one off piece, hand painted golden ribbon and cheeky feather in 24 karat gold. it has been part of my personal archive for some time, now it’s time for it to find a new home 😊
